The Caroline House Wish List

The Caroline House

The Caroline House is an education center for immigrant women and children. Their mission is to provide tuition-free opportunities to develop the whole person through education and support services. The Caroline House teaches ESL, basic computer skills and life skills. We help women adjust to life in a new culture and become confident and contributing members of their families and communities. Special workshops are provided on topics such as financial management, parenting, health & nutrition, domestic violence concerns and safety issues.

Women view Caroline House as a safe, peaceful haven where they are able to learn, make friends and receive assistance for a multitude of issues. Their young children attend an on-site preschool program while their mothers attend classes. This prepares the children for a successful entry into English-only kindergartens.
